As one of the oldest departments within the university, the Mechanical Science and Engineering department has provided curricula and support services for many decades, earning a reputation among engineering education professionals as one of the most respected programs in the nation. MechSE offers unparalleled strengths in key fundamental areas, such as biomechanical sciences, fluid mechanics, thermodynamics and heat transfer, applied physics, chemistry, dynamics and controls, computational science, and applied math.

There are two-degree programs, a Master of Engineering in Mechanical Engineering degree and a Master of Science in Mechanical Engineering degree. The Master of Engineering degree focuses more on professional development and is coursework based. On the other hand, the Master of Science degree focuses more on research and has a thesis requirement. Both programs are offered completely online. Lastly, a certificate program is available for those interested in developing expertise within materials engineering. Students must complete 12 credit hours of online graduate coursework to earn the certificate.

為來自中國(guó)的學(xué)生設(shè)計(jì) Applicants must have earned at least a bachelor's degree from a regionally accredited college in the United States or a comparable degree from a recognized institution of higher learning abroad. Students are required to have any one of the following: Bachelor degree in Hospitality and Tourism Management; Bachelor's degree - 4 - 5 years. They must have TOEFL score of greater than 610 and have GPA of 4/5 or 75% if B = 75 - 84% or 80% if B = 80 - 89% . English Language Requirements: TOEFL iBT - 79-102; TOEFL CBT - 213-253, TOEFL PBT - 550-610, IELTS (academic exam) - 6.5 with a score of 6 or higher in all sub-sections.
