The Master of Engineering in Civil and Environmental Engineering program is a non-research based professional degree. MEng students may be full-time or part-time while working in the engineering field. These students complete an advanced degree without a thesis/project requirement. Students specialize in one of four areas: Environmental/Water Resources Engineering, Geotechnical Engineering, Structural Engineering, or Transportation Engineering.

A total of 48 graduate credits are required for the MEng program. The degree can typically be completed in 1.5-2 years.

為來(lái)自中國(guó)的學(xué)生設(shè)計(jì) To be admitted to PSU for a master’s program, applicants must satisfy University requirements and be accepted by the academic department in which the graduate study will occur. Admission eligibility is based on receipt of a baccalaureate degree equivalent to a United States four-year bachelor's degree from a college or university recognized as an institution of higher education by the Ministry of Education in the relevant country or be regionally accredited within the U.S. Regular Admission: To be considered for regular admission, applicants must have a minimum cumulative undergraduate GPA of 2.75 or the equivalent (on the U.S. 4.0 scale). Applicants who have earned 9 or more letter-graded graduate credits must have a minimum graduate GPA of 3.0 or the equivalent; this graduate GPA supersedes the undergraduate GPA. IELTS: 6.5 overall score with minimum sub scores of 6.5 in reading and writing, TOEFL score of Paper-based: 550 overall; 22 in writing with 20 in reading and listening, TOEFL score of Internet-based: Minimum overall score of 80 with minimum sub scores of 18 in reading and writing, PTE - Academic: 60 overall.
