The Department of Communication offers a broad curriculum in communication research. In consultation with an advisor, students assemble individualized programs, concentrating in organizational and group communication, interpersonal and family communication, health communication, communication technology, political communication, rhetoric and public discourse, communication in cultural contexts, or mass communication. Interdisciplinary programs are also encouraged.

為來(lái)自中國(guó)的學(xué)生設(shè)計(jì) Applicants must have earned at least a bachelor's degree from a regionally accredited college in the United States or a comparable degree from a recognized institution of higher learning abroad. Students are required to have any one of the following: Bachelor degree in Hospitality and Tourism Management; Bachelor's degree - 4 - 5 years. They must have TOEFL score of greater than 610 and have GPA of 4/5 or 75% if B = 75 - 84% or 80% if B = 80 - 89% . English Language Requirements: TOEFL iBT - 79-102; TOEFL CBT - 213-253, TOEFL PBT - 550-610, IELTS (academic exam) - 6.5 with a score of 6 or higher in all sub-sections.
