This program provides basic preparation for teaching at the college level, background in the history of art for museum work, and preliminary study for the doctoral degree. In addition to the general requirements, the prerequisite for admission is ordinarily an undergraduate degree in art history or a strong preparation in related humanistic studies. Applicants with little background in art history but who have done exceptionally well as undergraduates in other disciplines will be seriously considered. A thesis or scholarly essay is required for completion of the degree.

為來自中國的學(xué)生設(shè)計(jì) Applicants must have earned at least a bachelor's degree from a regionally accredited college in the United States or a comparable degree from a recognized institution of higher learning abroad. Students are required to have any one of the following: Bachelor degree in Hospitality and Tourism Management; Bachelor's degree - 4 - 5 years. They must have TOEFL score of greater than 610 and have GPA of 4/5 or 75% if B = 75 - 84% or 80% if B = 80 - 89% . English Language Requirements: TOEFL iBT - 79-102; TOEFL CBT - 213-253, TOEFL PBT - 550-610, IELTS (academic exam) - 6.5 with a score of 6 or higher in all sub-sections.
