Recognising the changing healthcare landscape, the Master of Health Technology Innovation will help you bridge the gap between the technical and clinical arenas.
Healthcare solutions are increasingly dependent on the innovative use of modern technologies. If you are seeking to broaden your career options and take advantage of exciting opportunities in this emerging field, this professional degree is for you. You will work alongside engineers, IT specialists and health professionals on cross-disciplinary projects in the University's flagship Charles Perkins Centre, which is dedicated to easing the burden of obesity, diabetes, cardiovascular disease and related conditions. You will be taught by leaders in health, engineering and technology from the University and its extensive network of hospitals and healthcare facilities.
Graduate opportunities
Graduates of the Master of Health Technology Innovation are IT specialists within the Health and Medical fields who possess an excellent combination of knowledge and practical, hands-on expertise to manage health technology infrastructure and to support the people who use it. They will often be responsible for selecting and deploying appropriate software products and be involved in creating and managing business applications, web sites, systems and the IT environment within health-related organizations.
