The Master of Clinical Trials (Research) is a distinctive course, targeted at medical doctors and allied health professionals, which will allow you to acquire the expertise needed to design, develop, lead and conduct clinical trials. The course is led by the NHMRC Clinical Trials Centre (CTC), Australia's premier academic clinical trials research organisation and is specifically focused on clinical trials design and research methodology.

The course is offered via distance learning. As a result of participation, you will have a solid understanding of clinical trials methodologies underpinning the design of good quality studies, as well as the knowledge to lead and/or design, conduct and appropriately interpret the results of single and multi-centre clinical trials.

Future study options

Outstanding graduates may be eligible to pursue a higher degree by research in the courses of Doctor of Philosophy, Master of Philosophy and Master of Surgery (by research) offered by Sydney Medical School. A research degree provides students with the opportunity to prepare a substantial piece of work which represents a significant contribution in a particular field of study; and to gain transferable skills in general research methodology.

為來(lái)自中國(guó)的學(xué)生設(shè)計(jì) Applicants need to have one of the following: a bachelor’s degree with first or second-class honours from the University of Sydney or another approved institution; an equivalent qualification that demonstrates sufficient research experience and capability. English Language Requirements: TOEFL - IBT score: A minimum result of 96 overall including a minimum result of 17 in Reading, Listening and Speaking and 19 in Writing; IELTS score: A minimum result of 7.0 overall and a minimum result of 6.0 in each band; TOEFL - PBT score: A minimum result of 592 overall including a minimum result of 4.5 in Writing.
