專業(yè)概況

在這里學(xué)什么？

The Programme aims to:

• equip students with knowledge and understanding in general business and management;
• prepare students in the application and integration of general business and management knowledge;
• assist students in the acquisition of professional skills which are essential to their business career and professional development; and
• enable students to appreciate the importance of corporate sustainability and business ethics.

Programme Learning Goals (LG)

• LG1: Students will develop knowledge in major functional areas of modern business, with emphasis on the integration of the multiple dimensions of international business.
• LG2: Students will develop knowledge of organisations, their management, and the environment in which they operate.
• LG3: Students will develop ability to apply the knowledge and understanding of business and management to complex issues of modern days, both systematically and creatively, to improve business and management practice.
• LG4: Students will acquire knowledge of business ethics, CSR and corporate sustainability issues affecting business.

Career Services

Good career planning and preparation is essential. The Career Centre of HKBU and Career Services Section of the School of Business are dedicated to help students manage their career planning and development.

They also organize business skill enhancement and career training workshops on topics like presentation, CV writing, interview techniques, professional image, business etiquette, time management and other practical skills needed to succeed in business.

為來自中國的學(xué)生設(shè)計(jì) Applicants should normally hold a Bachelor's degree for admission to a Taught Postgraduate degree programme; English Language Requirements: TOEFL - 550 (Paper-based), 79 (Internet-based); or IELTS (Academic): Overall Band at 6.5; or CET-6 (College English Test band 6): 450.
