The Master of Science in Taxation at the University of New Haven attracts a wide range of accountants, attorneys, executives, and government employees, but it’s an even bigger draw for those hoping to become CPAs. Connecticut law requires CPA candidates to complete 150 academic credit hours of coursework in order to sit for the CPA exam. This program provides those hours.

The University of New Haven M.S. degree program in taxation is designed for accountants, attorneys, government employees, and executives seeking to gain advanced expertise in taxation law. Our graduates are among the most successful of University of New Haven alumni, with most employed in high-level executive positions or as partners in local, regional, and/or international CPA firms.

為來(lái)自中國(guó)的學(xué)生設(shè)計(jì) Applicants hold a baccalaureate degree from a regionally accredited U.S. institution or from a foreign institution that is recognized by its jurisdictional Ministry of Education for granting baccalaureate degrees. Generally, a minimum undergraduate GPA of 3.0 (where A is 4.0), based on all undergraduate courses taken at an accredited college or university, is expected though consideration will be given to prior graduate study and to supplementary professional experience. English Language Requirements: The Test of English as a Foreign Language (TOEFL) examination with a minimum score of 80 on the Internet-based test (IBT), The International English Language Testing System (IELTS) with a minimum score of 6.5 is also acceptable. The Pearson Test of English (PTE) with a minimum score of 53 is acceptable.
