The University of New Haven offers a 30-credit master degree program in electrical engineering which seamlessly bridges theory with hands-on application that allows graduates to be not only productive, but leaders in their chosen industry.

At the graduate level, the electrical engineering program allows students to flourish through analysis, design, development, or research on electrical and computer engineering systems while staying abreast of the latest trends in technology in focus areas such as communication, signal processing, power systems, control systems, and digital and computer systems.

Program Outcomes

• Demonstrate knowledge of fundamental concepts for graduate study in electrical and computer Engineering.
• Demonstrate knowledge of advanced topics in electrical and computer engineering.
• Apply design and analysis methods to solve emerging electrical and computer engineering problems.
• Conduct research and/or comprehensive projects in electrical engineering and appreciate the importance of life-long self-learning.

為來自中國的學(xué)生設(shè)計 Applicants hold a baccalaureate degree from a regionally accredited U.S. institution or from a foreign institution that is recognized by its jurisdictional Ministry of Education for granting baccalaureate degrees. Generally, a minimum undergraduate GPA of 3.0 (where A is 4.0), based on all undergraduate courses taken at an accredited college or university, is expected though consideration will be given to prior graduate study and to supplementary professional experience. English Language Requirements: The Test of English as a Foreign Language (TOEFL) examination with a minimum score of 80 on the Internet-based test (IBT), The International English Language Testing System (IELTS) with a minimum score of 6.5 is also acceptable. The Pearson Test of English (PTE) with a minimum score of 53 is acceptable.
