The Department of Germanic Languages and Literatures offers graduate programs leading to the degrees of Master of Arts in German, and Doctor of Philosophy in German. Students in the department may choose an additional specialization in Cultural Studies and Interpretive Research or a concentration in Medieval Studies. Candidates for the Ph.D. in German may additionally obtain a certificate in Second Language Acquisition and Teacher Education (SLATE Certificate).

為來(lái)自中國(guó)的學(xué)生設(shè)計(jì) Applicants must have earned at least a bachelor's degree from a regionally accredited college in the United States or a comparable degree from a recognized institution of higher learning abroad. Students are required to have any one of the following: Bachelor degree in Hospitality and Tourism Management; Bachelor's degree - 4 - 5 years. They must have TOEFL score of greater than 610 and have GPA of 4/5 or 75% if B = 75 - 84% or 80% if B = 80 - 89% . English Language Requirements: TOEFL iBT - 79-102; TOEFL CBT - 213-253, TOEFL PBT - 550-610, IELTS (academic exam) - 6.5 with a score of 6 or higher in all sub-sections.
