在這里學什么？Biochemistry is one of four departments that make up the School of Molecular and Cellular Biology (MCB) in the College of Liberal Arts and Sciences (LAS). In MCB we’re actively engaged in advancing research and education in the molecular, cellular, and integrative aspects of health, disease, and how organisms work. Our core values embrace excellence and discovery in a broad spectrum of disciplines.
In training to be a biochemist, your early education will be similar to that of students majoring in chemistry and MCB. Biochemistry majors have diverse plans, goals, and course options. The Specialized Curriculum in Biochemistry provides you with all the benefits of a sound baccalaureate-level education in Liberal Arts and Sciences. As part of the MCB community, you will also take courses and study with MCB majors and have the benefit of curricular enhancements available to all MCB undergraduates. These include research in available laboratories schoolwide, honors sections, study abroad, and advanced teaching facilities.
