Students are not accepted for the MA in Anthropology alone, but the MA in Anthropology can be granted after two years of course work and satisfactory completion of the screening exams.

ANTH 501 History and Foundations of Anthropology

ANTH 502 Contemporary Theory in Anthropology

ANTH 503 Regional Ethnography

ANTH 506 Primate Behavior and Sociobiology

ANTH 562 The Practice of Ethnography (or another methods course approved by the supervisor for primatologists)
