Whether you want to learn a new language or study a new culture, explore great books, ideas or minds, discover the past, analyse the present or consider the shape of the world's future, the Bachelor of Arts will expand your horizons and challenge you to think outside the box.

Offering broad choice across more than 45 subject areas in the humanities and social sciences, no two arts degrees are quite the same. You will study a major and a minor, choosing both from our broad choice across the humanities and social sciences, or selecting your minor from the University's shared pool.

Spanish is spoken by over 400 million people, is the third most spoken language in the world and is the official language of 21 countries, spanning Europe, the Americas and Africa. Studying Spanish will equip you with a deep and applied knowledge of the language, its social and academic contexts and uses, as well as the tools to examine and understand past and contemporary forms of politics, society and culture in the Spanish-speaking world.

With both language and culture subjects, you will explore modern and contemporary culture; discuss major/contemporary literary, film, cultural, and intellectual movements, genres, and works from a variety of media; and engage critically with a wide range of issues related to race, ethnicity, class, sexuality, gender, and social struggles. You participate in Spanish via group work, role-plays, creative project-based work, online quizzes, discussion, as well as skills tests, exams and essay writing.

Our exchange programs with universities in Spain and Latin America enhance your learning by offering invaluable in-country exposure to these societies and cultures.

為來(lái)自中國(guó)的學(xué)生設(shè)計(jì) Admission to this course is on the basis of the following criteria: a secondary education qualification (including national and international equivalents), or approved higher education study, including approved preparation courses. English Language Requirements: IELTS overall score of 6.5 with no band below 6.0; TOEFL Paper based score of 565; TOEFL IBT: 85; PTE Academic score of 61; Cambridge English: Advanced (CAE): 58; Cambridge English: Proficiency (CPE): 45; Cambridge English scale: CAE and CPE: 176.
