專業(yè)概況

在這里學(xué)什么？ This is a joint honours course, where you study English Language and Linguistics alongside Japanese Studies. English Language and Linguistics will enable you to explore how language works as a complex system and why English has become the global language of communication. You will examine the ways in which the language, and other forms of meaning, are structured and used for different purposes in a range of contexts – local, national and global. Oxford is the ideal city in which to study English Language and Linguistics, with a vibrant literary community, and cultural and literary events taking place throughout the year. It is also a very international city – with students and residents from a wide range of backgrounds. Japan is a fascinating, complex and vibrant country with the third largest economy in the world. Think sushi, sumo, Sony, Shinto, Toyota, karaoke, kabuki, karate and manga. If you would like to explore Japanese society and language, our Japanese Studies course is for you. The course combines language modules with the study of specific aspects of society and culture, taught by specialists in the field.

為來(lái)自中國(guó)的學(xué)生設(shè)計(jì) Qualifications equivalent to UK A-levels: Senior Secondary School Graduation Certificate PLUS a recognition foundation course. Senior Secondary School Graduation Certificate plus Gaokao (National College Entrance Examination/National College Entrance Examination/NCEE). IELTS 6.0-7.0, with 6.0 in reading and writing, and 5.5 in listening and speaking. One year of university in China achieving at least 75% overall.
